PLEASE
NOTE!!
SMOKE SIGNALS is about to begin a new series called “Spotlite On”. Each month we
hope to feature a couple of paragraphs of a ’63 Warrior’s biography along with
a recent picture.
The first paragraph should succinctly bring readers
up to date on what you’ve done since
May ’63. The second paragraph should detail what’s going on currently in your
life, including,
but not limited to: kids, grandkids, current interests, jobs etc. We would
prefer a RECENT PIC
limited to just the Warrior or the Warrior and a significant other. Scanned
pics should be
approximately 1 inch by 1 and a half inches and sent to BOZ
. If scanning cannot be done,
email BOZ for mailing instructions. THE
SUCCESS OF THIS SERIES DEPENDS ON YOU.
PLEASE MAKE IT WORK!
Phil Murphree got it dead bang perfect, though suspicions remain that the
picture he provided may have been re-touched. CLICK FOR PICS
MEMORIES,...Send your Central memory to Paula
As most of us will reach the age of 60 this year, send
a couple of pics of your
celebration, if available, along with a short narrative to PHIL
HOLIDAY LIGHTS
Again this holiday season, the Central Web site
will post interior and/or exterior pictures of
your decorations. If you would rather not play Clark Griswold climbing on the
roof, decorations
at wherever you celebrate may be submitted. This is not a contest, but just a
way to invite the
class to share in your festivities. You can send digital pictures directly to
Phil at holiday lights.
Pictures should be limited to 100 mb or so and in jpeg format. If you would
rather, mail your
snapshots to Bob Pepper, 482 Brook Ridge Cir., Cordova, Tn. 38018 for scanning
and
forwarding. Ideally, pictures should include you and your family, along with a
narrative. When
snapshots are mailed USPS, the narrative should be e-mailed to Phil advising
that the pictures
are being sent under separate cover. Pictures will be posted through January.

With hurricanes,
earthquakes. fires out of control, mud slides, tornadoes, flooding and
severe
t-storms tearing up the country from one end
to another, with the threat of bird flu and
terrorists attacks, are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the
Pledge of Allegiance?
